Anna L. Schreiner, 105, of Cementon, died March 30, 2023, at Fellowship Manor. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Schreiner Sr. for 52 years.

Born in Walberts, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Effie Diehl.

She was a proud high school graduate.

She worked at Hess’ as a sales lady and was a member of the tip staff for Lehigh County Judge Scheirer. She retired as the laundress and seamstress for Whitehall High School.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, where she was a member of the former Altar and Rosary Society, the Women of St. Elizabeth and the Golden Agers.

Earlier in life, she was a Girl Scout leader for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Joanne M. Hettinger, with whom she resided; a son, Joseph J. Jr. with his wife Susan of Whitehall; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a sister, Florence Roth.

She was predeceased by three grandchildren; a daughter, Janet Schwartz; a brother, Carl Diehl; and a son-in-law, Alfred K. Hettinger, Esq.
