Sally A. Birgl, 65, of Kempton, died March 25, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit.
She and her husband, Peter G. Birgl, were married 43 years last October.
Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of Tony and Sally (Suozzo) Bonventure of Carteret, N.J.
She was a secretary for Vollux Autowerks, Schnecksville.
A member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run, she was a former council member and secretary.
She was a member of the Berks County Kennel Club and the Tibetan Terrier Club of America.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by children Michele R. Causa of Emmaus, Jennifer A. Birgl of Macungie, and Christopher P. Birgl of Kempton; brothers Anthony Bonventure (Sharon) of Carteret, and Michael Bonventure (Janice) of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and grandchildren Eris and Adalind.
Services are 4 p.m. March 30 at Friedens Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road, Kempton. Visitation is 3-4 p.m. Interment will be private.
