Salisbury Easter Egg Hunt April 1

The Salisbury Recreation Advisory Committee will host an Easter Egg Hunt 10 a.m. April 1 at Lindberg Park for children ages 3-10, weather permitting. Attendees must be registered by March 29.
All forms must be turned into the township building.
March 29 marks the end of the third marking period for Salisbury High School students. The final push is on for the year!
The Salisbury Elementary School PTO will hold its final meeting of the year 6:30 p.m. April 3. This last general meeting will include updates to the bylaws and the election of new board members for next year. Rumor has it there will also be an ice cream bar beginning 6 p.m. where the PTO will supply the ice cream; they just ask that you bring a favorite topping! YUM!
All Salisbury Township schools will be closed April 6-10. School will reopen April 11.
Save the date! It’s time for the SHS blood drive. The drive will be noon to 7 p.m. April 18 in the old gym. Students and staff are able to donate 12:30-2 p.m. and appointments for students, staff and the community are available 2:30-7 p.m. Time slots can be scheduled by visiting www.GIVEaPINT.org and using the Sponsor Code 0490. The Salisbury Township School District Wellness Committee is holding a 5K Fun Run April 22. The run will start at the high school and there is a small registration fee for Salisbury students and for all other participants. Registration starts 8 a.m. with the race starting 10 a.m., rain or shine. Any questions should be directed to Jimmy Hahn at jhahn@salisburysd.org.
Looking forward, take some time this spring to clean out your unwanted items. The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club is holding a clothing drive June 3 at SHS. The drop off location will be the high school auxiliary gym entrance 9 a.m. to noon. The truck will pick up donations between noon and 1 p.m. For more information on accepted items, visit www.clothingdrive.net.
The Salisbury Township drop-off sites will officially open in April. The Franko site will be open April 3, 6 and 8. Hours will remain the same: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury, 1707 Church Road, Allentown, will hold its annual Sunday school Easter Egg Hunt 2 p.m. April 1. Children ages newborn through 13 should bring their Easter baskets.
Jerusalem Church will hold a bingo 1 p.m. April 15. Doors open noon. Refreshments will be available.
