North Catasauqua Police Department would like to inform the public about a program called Project Lifesaver.

Project Lifesaver is a program that has been available to the members of the community since July 2021. The primary purpose of the program is to save the lives of those who have a tendency to wander, in particular a family member who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, Down syndrome or Autism disorder.

The police department’s search and rescue capability has dramatically improved since the implementation of Project Lifesaver.
