Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, has a concert planned for members and their guests.

Jesse Wade Acoustic will perform 7-10 p.m. March 31.

Members attend free. Guests of members pay a small admission fee.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, has a planned the following events.

A covered dish meal is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by a Holy Communion service 7 p.m., April 7.

A Tenebrae service is set for 7 p.m. April 8, with a prayer vigil starting 8 p.m. that same day and contninuing through 7 p.m. April 9.

Easter Sunday services are set for 7 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. April 9.

Egypt Memorial Park, 4540 Hillcrest Lane, will hold an Easter egg hunt for members ages 10 and under April 8.

Registration begins noon. The egg hunt starts 1 p.m.

Nonmembers can sign up for park membership at the event.

Donations of candy or filled eggs are welcome and can be dropped off at the snack stand, or email egyptmemorialpark@gmail.com to make arrangements.

Whitehall Mennonite Church, 4138 Wilson St., Egypt, will hold an Easter breakfast 9 a.m. April 9, followed by an Easter egg hunt 9:45 a.m. and Easter worship service 10:15-11:15 a.m. All are welcome.

The youth group of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will host a penny party at the church April 16.

Doors open 11:30 a.m., and the game begins 12:30 p.m.

The group will offer more than 200 items for bid as well as two basket raffles. Food will be available for purchase.

Whitehall Historical Preservation Society is sponsoring a historical walking tour of Egypt, to be held 10 a.m. April 22.

The tour, which begins at Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., will cover 1.3 miles and last approximately 2.5 hours.

There is no cost to WHPS members. A small donation is requested of all other participants.

Egypt Fire Company, 4099 Kuhn Lane, is recruiting volunteer firefighters. Men, women and youth ages 14 and up are invited to apply at the fire station Mondays after 6:30 p.m.
