Coplay: Fire department plans holiday event
Coplay Volunteer Fire Department is holding a community egg hunt noon April 1 at Saylor Field on Keefer Street.
Age groups will be 0-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-11.

Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association is holding its annual Easter egg hunt 1 p.m. April 8, rain or shine, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St.
Do not call the church for information about the egg hunt. Instead, call Rick at 610-844-4282 with questions.

Chris “Breeze” Barcynski will be performing 7-10 p.m. April 8 at Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St.
This event is open to members and their guests only. There is no cover.

The Saengerbund will hold a country western dance 2-6 p.m. April 16.
The Joe Kroboth Band is entertaining.
Line dancing instruction by Valerie will begin 2 p.m.
Door prizes are offered by the club’s heritage committee.

American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St., is holding a dance night at its pavilion April 28.
The doors will open 5 p.m. The kitchen will be open. There is a cash bar.
The club is still offering its monthly hoagie sales. Hoagies (regular or tuna) and sandwiches (ham and cheese or tuna) are available.

The Saengerbund’s Viennese Ball event is set for 3-6 p.m. April 30.
Emil Schanta Band will perform.
Come dressed in traditional ball attire, such as black tie or white bow tie, tuxedo, vest, suit and jacket for men and ballgown, long skirt, fancy dress and hair adornments for women.
There is a cost for members and guests.

Coplay Borough is seeking a vendor for the municipal pool concession stand, a pool manager, pool lifeguards and a pavilion cleaner.
The deadline to apply is March 31.
