Mary JoAnn Hill, 85, of Bethlehem, died March 17, 2023, at her residence.

She was a daughter of the late James and Juanita Hill.

She was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.

She worked in the Office of Research at Lehigh University for many years. After retirement, she worked in the Martindale Center for Private Enterprise at Lehigh for several years.

She was a member of Central Moravian Church, where she was active on the History and Care for Creation committees, was treasurer of the Busy Workers Society and coordinated the flowers in the sanctuary.

She was a supporter of many different causes, especially of the performing arts. She is survived by two cousins, Sandy Formosa and Nancy Cardemone, and many friends.

Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
