Zoning hearing board members were increased from three to five at the March 16 Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners meeting.

Ordinance 2023-02 was approved unanimously which changes the numbers of voting members and eliminates alternates. Resolution 2023-17 is for reappointing zoning hearing board members.

Irv Keister was interested in becoming a member of the planning commission, but at the last minute, decided against this.

The conditional use hearing for Lower Macungie Mixed Use Development, LLC of Feb. 16 was approved.

Former Township Manager Bruce Fosselman was acknowledged as his first grandchild was born recently.
