Robert E. Crites, 49, of Coplay, died March 17, 2023, after a 13-month battle with brain cancer.

Born in Tulsa, Okla., he was the son of the late William Dean and Jayne (Cherry) Crites.

A longtime employee of both Dorney Park and Sodexho, he managed food purchasing/warehouse.

He achieved a life goal last year by earning his Bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University.

His survivors include daughters Meaghan Quinn and Mackenzie Indiana, both at home; brother William Dean Jr. and family of Milton; aunt and uncle, Paula and John Womack, of Altus, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister Missy.

Services will be private and his ashes will be spread among the redwoods he so loved in California.

In lieu of flowers, consider donating to the “Crites Scholarship Fund” for his daughters’ college educations.
