Richard H. “Dick” Souilliard, 93, of Country Meadows, Allentown, died March 17, 2023.

He was the husband of the late Joyce M. (Stephens).

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Laura E. (Kemmerer) Souilliard.

He was a member and choir member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Congregational Church, Emmaus.

He and his wife were summer residents of Waldheim Park where he served on its board.

Before retiring, he was employed at Mack Trucks Inc. in quality control for 17 years.

Previously, he was a machinist at Gehringer Harlacher for 30 years.

He was active in playing and refereeing basketball and softball.

At the age of 50, he competed in two marathons. At the age of 70, he began golfing.

His survivors include daughters Sandra Sell of Hellertown, Catherine Bleiler and husband, William, of Allentown; son Brian and wife, Carol, of Orefield; daughter-in-law Barrie Jean of Allentown; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by a son Richard II, brother Donald and sister, June Onufer.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. March 24 at Stephens Funeral Home Inc., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown.

Call 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, South Whitehall.
