Franklin D. LaDue, 82, of Kempton, died March 16, 2023, surrounded by his loving family in his home.
He and his wife, Teresa A. (Slattery) LaDue, were married 26 years.
Born Nov. 8, 1940, in Tupper Lake, N.Y., he was the son of the late Yvette (Romanada) Leroux, Peter LaDue and Ligourie Leroux.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
During his service of 26 years, he was a salvage diver and earned the rank of senior chief (E8).
He was a member of American Legion Post 217, Topton, and VFW Post 2124, Allentown.
He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Craig A. LaDue and wife Sheom, Franklin D. LaDue Jr. and wife Lori, and Delieca L. LaDue-White and husband David; brother Lee Leroux; sister Yvette LaFrankie; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by siblings Peter, Roger, Darlene and Rodney.
