Congratulations to the following Catasauqua High School student-athletes on their recent accomplishments: senior Gavin Fehr and juniors Mikhail Hartranft and Chad Beller on placing in the top six at the PIAA 2A Southeast Regional Wrestling Championships at Freedom High School and qualifying for the PIAA State Wrestling Championships in Hershey. Fehr finished fifth, and Hartranft and Beller both finished sixth.

Freshman Maliya Walp qualified for and participated in the District XI 2A Swimming Championships at Parkland High School. Walp finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke and 12th in the 50-yard freestyle.

Senior Javier Sobrado was selected as CHS football scholar-athlete for the 2022-23 school year. Sobrado and the other nominees were honored at the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame scholar-athlete banquet, recently held in Bethlehem.
