Richard H. “Dick” Souilliard, 93, of Country Meadows, Allentown, died March 17, 2023. He was the husband of the late Joyce M. (Stephens). Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Laura E. (Kemmerer) Souilliard.

He was a member and choir member of St. Matthew’s E.C. Church, Emmaus.

He and his wife were summer residents of Waldheim Park where he served on its board.

Before retiring, he was employed at Mack Trucks, Inc. in quality control for 17 years. Previously, he was employed as a machinist at Gehringer Harlacher for 30 years.

He was active in playing and refereeing basketball and softball.

At the age of 50, he competed in two marathons; at the age of 70, he began golfing.

He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Sell, of Hellertown, Catherine and her husband, William Bleiler, of Allentown; son, Brian and his wife, Carol, of Orefield; daughter-in-law, Barrie Jean, of Allentown; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Richard II, a brother, Donald and a sister, June Onufer.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. March 24 at the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown. Call 9:30 a.m. until service time.
