John F. Marth Jr., 73, of Newfoundland, died March 8, 2023.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the Pauline (Turko) and the late John F. Marth Sr.

He was a 1967 Northampton High School graduate.

He was in the U.S. Merchant Marines.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Michael; cousins; extended family; and a companion, Sharlene Gabaldon.

There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. March 25 at Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton, 18067.
