Coplay: Club plans music event

Chelsea Lyn Meyer will perform 7-10 p.m. March 25 at Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St. The event is open to members and their guests only; there is no cover.

Coplay Saengerbund’s Lumpenball (Bum’s Ball) is set for 3-6 p.m. March 26. Come dressed down in old clothes, hats, etc. Emil Schanta Band will perform.

No reservations are needed.

There is a cost for members and guests.

American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St., is holding a ham/cash raffle March 26. Doors open noon.

There will be free lunch refreshments included in the ticket price.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is assembling a yearlong celebration for 2023 as the church celebrates its 150th anniversary.

The Rev. David Newhart will provide a Son of the Congregation sermon March 26.

Coplay Borough is seeking a vendor for the municipal pool concession stand, a pool manager, pool lifeguards and a pavilion cleaner.

Coplay Fire Department is holding a community egg hunt noon April 1 at Saylor Field on Keefer Street. Age groups will be 0-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-11.

Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association has planned its annual Easter egg hunt for 1 p.m. April 8, rain or shine, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St.
