Celtic Cultural Alliance announces a free lecture today at 6 p.m. While this event is free, seating is limited and registration is required. To extend the celebration of St. Patrick through the month of March, CCA will be presenting a discussion led by Dr. Elizabeth Timberlake-Newell on St. Patrick and St. Francis – The spiritual zeal of the father of the Irish church and the Porverello.

At this event we will explore the backgrounds, turning point events and the ministries of the two well-loved saints through their writings and their biographies. Though distant in time and geography, the lives of the world’s first abolishionst and the world’s first environmentalist follow surprisingly similar paths.
