Glenn R. Sell, 74, of Allentown, died March 3, 2023, in his home.

He and his wife, Gail J. (Krupp) Sell, would have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary this June.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Miriam E. (Riegel) Sell.

A 1970 graduate of Kutztown University, he earned a degree in geography.

He was employed by Mack Trucks more than 17 years and Kraft Foods before retiring.

He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Trexlertown.

A volunteer for the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, Kutztown, where he researched genealogy, he enjoyed fishing, astronomy, American history, reading, collecting books and was an avid bowler.

He was a member of the Parkland High School reunion committee.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Jennifer L. Sell-Knapp of Brattleboro, Vt.; son Jonathan D. Sell and his wife, Tiffani, of Ashburnham, Mass.; grandchildren Carly, Jovi, Sadie and Emmett; sister-in-law Sandy Sell of Hellertown; brother-in-law Gary Krupp and his wife, Lauri, of Allentown; and niece and nephews.

He was predeceased by his twin brother Robert G. Sell.
