Shirley A. Lamson, 90, formerly of Schnecksville and Allentown, died March 4, 2023, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Lamson.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Clyde R. and Laura (Bortz) Kurtz.

She assisted her late husband in the operation of Bob Lamson Beer Steins Inc., Allentown, for many years. She was previously a telephone operator for Bell Telephone.

She was a member of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, New Tripoli, and a longtime member of the former Dubbs Memorial United Church of Christ, Allentown.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa L. Lamson Schwartz of Orefield; a son-in-law, Michael J. Scanlan of Allentown; two grandsons, Logan N. Schwartz and his fiancee Allison Schafer and Casey R. Scanlan and his wife Andrea; and three great-grandchildren, Rowan J., Nora C. and Callan M. Scanlan.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Jodi A. Scanlan; and three siblings, Clem Kurtz, Jackie Doll and Leah Billich.
