Michael W. “Mikey” Selinsky, 89, died March 5, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Barbara H. (Filtcroft) for 29 years. Born in Giardville, he was a son of the late Michael and Eleanor (Rakowsky) Selinsky.
He was a 1951 graduate of Giardville High School where his class wrote in their yearbook, “Mike is quick, witty and brim full of fun; that’s why he’s liked by everyone.” He continued to live his whole life in this way.
An Army veteran, he earned the rank of Private First Class. After serving in the Army, he was employed at Fuller Company as a sales engineer for 46 years and found himself traveling the world before retiring in 2008.
An avid organ player, he loved polka music and making people laugh and smile.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Carol and her husband, Cliff Unfried, Tracy Rambo; grandchildren, Tonya and Shane Ritter, Larry Shrew; great-granddaughter, Emersyn Heydt; nieces; nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah, brothers, James, Louie and Jackie; sister, Dolores Schreffler.
