Eleanor R. Haas, 88, formerly of Emmaus, died March 5, 2023, at The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of Carl R. Haas Sr. They would have been married for 66 years in June. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Elwood J. and Frances A. (Edelman) Weidner.

She was a graduate of the former Allentown Hospital School of Nursing and was employed at Lehigh Valley Health Network as a registered nurse for 55 years until retiring.

She is survived by her husband; son, Carl R. Jr., of Mertztown; daughter, Beverly and her husband, Donald L. Keim Jr., of Oley; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Weidner.
