Deanna J. Dech, 86, of Northampton, died March 5, 2023, at her residence. She was the wife of Dale R. Dech for 67 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Eugenia (Fries) Haas.

She was a homemaker.

She was an active member and a deaconess of the Church of God, Lehigh Valley.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, David L. and wife Tina of Danielsville and Dean A. and wife Brenda of Northampton; a daughter, Dianne L. and husband Rickey Szapacs of Northampton; two sisters, Carol and husband Leonard Smith of Muncy and Cathy and husband Willard Sargent of Coopersburg; five grandchildren, Kimberly and husband Skip Rossanese, Jessica and husband John Crisafulli, Korey Szapacs and wife Lisa, Derek and Justin; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, John Benko of Center Valley.

She was predeceased by a sister, Jeraine Benko.
