Stop by Coplay Public Library on St. Patrick’s Day - March 17 - and receive a special treat if you’re wearing green.

Storytime with Miss Sharon, for all ages, will be 11 a.m. March 18. A craft will follow. All ages are welcome to attend.
No preregistration is necessary.

Come into the library this month to warm up and stay to watch a movie on our big screen. We will be showing movies 1 p.m. every Saturday.
Our movie schedule includes “Darby O’Gill and the Little People” March 18 and “E.T.: the Extra-Terrestrial” March 25.
You can bring your own snacks!

The library’s spring book/bake sale is set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. March 24 and 25. A basket raffle will be held as well. The drawing will be 4 p.m. March 25.
We are having a food drive to benefit to Coplay Food Bank during the sale. Bring in one nonperishable food item and you get one book free. This offer will be limited to one free item per person.

During the month of March, the library is collecting food for Coplay Food Bank. Check the borough newsletter for specific item requests.

The library will be hosting a crocheting class 1 p.m. Wednesdays, for all levels of experience. Bring your current project, or start a new one.
If you don’t crochet but knit, do latch rugs or needlepoint instead, come join.

The library will be holding a 50/50 raffle through March. The drawing will be noon April 1.

The library is helping Coplay’s park and recreation committee with a fundraiser by selling lottery calendars for the month of June.
Your donation will help support the pool and gives you 30 chances to win!

Need to use a computer to search for information or make printouts? We have six public access computers for you to use. Just show your library card at the front desk when you come into the library.
If you don’t have a library card, it only takes a few minutes to get one. All you need is a form of ID, like a driver’s license.
Library cards are free and can be used at 12 libraries in Lehigh and Carbon counties.

Do you have books that are gently read that you would like to donate to the library? We are happy to accept them. We also accept DVDs and CDs. For your safety, drop them off at the circulation desk during open hours.

Although we are having a mild winter so far, we can still have some days when the library needs to close due to weather conditions.
