Mary A. Fatzinger, 91, formerly of Whitehall, died March 5, 2023, surrounded by her family in Phoebe Home, Allentown.
She was the wife of the late Richard F. Fatzinger.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Teresa (Betz) Sterner.
Before retiring, she worked more than 20 years as an office clerk at Laneco and previously at Pantry Pride.
She was a member of the former Dubbs Memorial UCC, Allentown.
She and her late husband were active with the LCYA Bulldogs for more than 23 years.
She was a member of the St. Francis Society, Allentown.
Mostly, she will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, who was an avid Eagles fan and enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, trips to the casino and tending to her rose garden.
Her survivors include a son Richard W. of Allentown; daughters Karen Hunter, and her husband, Alan, of Coopersburg, Mary Kline, and her husband, David, of Walnutport, Donna Lipsky of Coplay, and Patty Macdonald, and her husband, Jim, of Coplay; brother Robert of Catasauqua; sisters Patricia Bendekovits of Whitehall, Shirley George and her husband, Gary, of Allentown; grandchildren Richard J., Rachael, Brian, Joey, Jake, Colleen, Lucas, Chelsea, Noble, Jared and Olivia; and great-grandchildren Elena, Avery, Arianna, Parker, Shane, Brayden, Lilly, Ella, Cayde, Ava and Jolene.
Her service will be at 3 p.m. March 9 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. Call at 2 p.m.
