Lehigh Township Rails to Trails is excited to announce it will be resuming town walks.

They will tour Palmerton March 11 to learn the history of and view the structures that are part of the town’s past.

They will meet 1 p.m. by the memorial in the borough park at the corner of Delaware Avenue and Third Street. The length of the walk is about 2 miles.

Although this event is free, register by calling or texting Nancy at 484-330-9627 or Dean at 610-462-0617. Provide your name, phone number and number of people attending in case there is a change in plans.

The Lehigh Township Historical Society will be holding its Finally Spring basket social April 16.

Save the date for Lehigh Township Lioness-Lions Club’s annual basket party, to be held 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 23 at Danielsville Democratic Club, 3980 Mountain View Drive.

The St. Nicholas Church designer purse bingo will be April 30 at Diamond Fire Hall, Slatington.

Doors open 11:30 a.m., and bingo begins 1 p.m.
