Fullerton: Breakfast set for March 12

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church will be serving its next monthly breakfast 8:30-11:30 a.m. March 12 in the parish hall on Pershing Boulevard.

Come and enjoy your favorites of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, pancakes, Danish, juice and coffee.

This is the second-last breakfast of the season. The special breakfast treats this month are Pots of Gold (mini quiche).

Whitehall Active Community Center, in partnership with the Whitehall Lions Club, will be hosting a hearing presentation noon March 14 at 2301 Pine St.

Dr. Peter Kleckner, of Kleckner Audiology, will speak noon-1 p.m. about basic hearing loss, tinnitus and treatments.

The Whitehall Lions will offer their spot vision screener.

There is no cost, and the public is invited to attend.

The Lady PEEPS Women’s Group of St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will next meet 6:30 p.m. March 21 in Fox Hall.

The evening’s program is called Nordic Virtual Sights. Tour guide Donna Lee Yeatts will take us on a virtual journey to Norway, Iceland, Sweden and Denmark. Use the elevator entrance.

St. Elizabeth’s Church will hold a Lenten fish dinner 4-6 p.m. March 24 in the parish hall on Pershing Boulevard.

The menu consists of breaded fish, roasted potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw and roll. Macaroni and cheese will be available. Takeout is available for an additional cost.
