Dorothy F. (Lewis) Nemes, 94, of Allentown, died March 4, 2023, in Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Stephen R. Nemes Sr.

Born July 21, 1928, in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Angeline (Traupman) Lewis.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, and its Women’s Guild.

Her survivors include children Stephen R. Nemes Jr. (Linda) of New Tripoli, Richard J. Nemes (June) of Yelm, Wash., Mary A. Nemes (Jill) of Bethlehem, Michael T. Nemes of Allentown; brother John Lewis of Bethlehem; sister Elizabeth Strohler (Donald) of Florida; grandchildren Thomas, Scott and Jennifer; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters Geraldine Gosztonyi and Marion Seel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. March 10 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday in the church.

Private interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
