Santi Reteguiz, 87, of New Tripoli, formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., died Feb. 25, 2023, in the home of her granddaughter, Ericka M. Reteguiz.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Reteguiz.

Born April 13, 1935, in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Eusebio and Cruz Maria (Lugo) Torres.

She was a floor lady at the former Cornish Knits, Brooklyn, for 45 years before moving to Pennsylvania.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

Her survivors include sons, Joseph M. Reteguiz and his wife, Maria, of New Tripoli, Jose A. Reteguiz and his wife, Patricia, of Milford, Frankie Reteguiz and his wife, Lisset, of Long Island, N.Y.; daughter, Gladys Hernandez of Allentown; siblings, Jaime Torres of Long Island, Sele Torres of Allentown, Margie Torres of Florida, Titi Torres of Brooklyn, Lupe Torres of Puerto Rico; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by daughter, Maria Reteguiz.

There will be a prayer service 11 a.m. March 4 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309 Schnecksville.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
