Maurice A. Blose, 93, formerly of Whitehall, died Feb. 21, 2023, in Cedar Crest Post Acute Care, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of the late Hilda S. (Bauer) Blose.
Born Dec. 8, 1929, in Neffs, he was the son of the late Elmer E. and Emma (Sauer) Blose.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era, earning the rank of corporal.
He was an assembler at Knoll International, East Greenville, for five years before retiring in 1995.
Before that, he was a foreman in the shipping and warehouse department of the former Lehigh Valley Dairy for 39 years.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan.
His survivors include children Deborah A. Polzer (Stephen) of Florida, Kevin M. Blose (Donald) of South Carolina, Darrin J. Blose and his wife, Amy, of Schnecksville; and grandchildren Kylie, Kate, Robert and Michael.
He was predeceased by siblings Earl, Walter, Eugene, Edgar and Bertha Blose, and Doris Mengas.
His service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
