Florence (Wong) Bachman, 87, of New Tripoli, died Feb. 23, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Braden B. Bachman.

Born Feb. 12, 1936, in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late James Wong and Chew Chi.

She was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking and sewing.

Before retiring, she worked several years as a seamstress and at Kraft Foods, Fogelsville.

She enjoyed gardening and had a love of flowers.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

Her survivors include children Jeannette M., wife of Dr. Richard N. Arteca, of State College, Suzanne E. Bachman of Philadelphia, Bradford B. Bachman and his wife, Laura, of Mertztown, and James E. Bachman of New Tripoli; four grandchildren; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
