Sylvia Kozy, 89, of Coopersburg, formerly of Limeport, died Jan. 19, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of the late Michael Kozy. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Hopko) Zapach Sr.

She owned and operated the former Kozy’s Beauty Salon in Limeport for over 60 years until retiring.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Allentown. She was well known for organizing vacation trips to her favorite destination, Aruba.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna and her husband, Stephen Sadrovitz, with whom she resided; grandsons, Craig and his wife, Jennifer and Brian and his wife, Lindsay; brother, Michael Zapach. She was predeceased by a sister, Geraldine and brothers, David, Theodore, Thomas and Joseph Zapach Jr.
