Northampton: AARP to meet March 8
Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet March 8 at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.
Doors open 11 a.m. The meeting will begin noon.
Megan Sedlock, from Traditions of Hanover, will be the guest speaker.
Members must be signed up for the March meeting and will be checked upon admittance to the meeting. Attendees are asked not to bring refreshments to this meeting.

Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1301 Newport Ave., is holding a nut roll sale.
Varieties include apricot, lekvar, nut, poppy seed, red raspberry and pumpkin cheese.

Pickup is 10 a.m.-noon April 1 at the church.

Boy Scout Troop 93 is planning to hold a spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. March 25 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 19th Street and Lincoln Avenue. There is a cost, which includes drinks, salad and ice cream for dessert.
Children age 6 and under eat for free.
Proceeds will benefit the Boy Scouts.

A crabcake and/or chicken finger dinner will be held 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., on four Fridays - March 3, 10, 17 and 24 - on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dinners include two crabcakes or three chicken fingers, a baked potato, coleslaw, roll and a brownie.
The dinners can be taken out or eaten there.
Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Veteran’s Outreach Day will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. April 22 at Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave. The event is sponsored by Northampton Joint Veterans Association and the Valley Health Partners Veteran Health program.
Many veteran-based organizations will be present to provide information, support and services for all veterans, their families and their caretakers.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering for the 2023-24 school year.
The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children, who do not need to be toilet trained for this class.
The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, who need to be toilet trained for this class.
The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, who need to be toilet trained for this class.
Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.
