In continuation of the Read Across America festivities, students should wear a shirt with words March 2 and team apparel March 3.

Catasauqua Area School District will be closed March 10 for a teacher in-service day.

There is a CASD Board of Education meeting set for 7 p.m. March 14 at the district administration building, 201 14th St.

CASD is in need of bus drivers who possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license. Clearances are required. If interested, CASD will help with CDL training to drive a bus.

Additionally, food service substitutes are needed. Clearances are required.

These roles have flexibility in scheduling and daytime hours during the week. The job is part time at a rate of $12.10 an hour.
