Truck fire damages two homes

A fire caused extensive damage Jan. 27 to a twin home along N. Scenic Street, Cetronia.

The homes, located at 316 and 320 N. Scenic St., were extensively damaged when a truck parked under a carport at the 316 address caught fire.

The fire then extended into the 316 home, eventually spreading to the 320 address as well.

Cetronia, Woodlawn and Greenawalds volunteer firefighters responded.

Also dispatched were Western Salisbury and Lower Macungie fire departments, Cetronia Ambulance Corps and South Whitehall police.

According to Lehigh County Assessment records, the owner at 316 N. Scenic St. is Nicolay Garzon. Steve and Sharon Allen own the home at 320 N. Scenic St.

No injuries were reported and the fire was brought under control in less than 15 minutes after arrival by the first unit, Cetronia Engine 311.
