Join the Lehigh Valley Zoo Volunteer Program! Located in Schnecksville, LV Zoo is open ALL YEAR from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (Nov-Mar) and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (April to October). We are looking for volunteers to help further our mission of conservation and education as a Docent, Crafts & Activities volunteer, Zoo Clean team member, or in one of our other volunteer positions. Help to play a vital role in maintaining the blood supply for the community where you live. Miller-Keystone Blood Center has many volunteer opportunities available throughout the communities that we serve and at our donor centers in Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. Someone needs to give out the snacks with a smile while monitoring the donors and making sure they are doing well after donating. Why not you? Great opportunity for companies, groups, families, or individuals to volunteer for The Salvation Army Children’s Services’ Rock N Run 5K, 10K, and Kids’ Fun Run on Saturday, May 13 at Coca-Cola Park. Have a blast while helping children impacted by foster care. Lots of different jobs are available from course marshal to food service to cheering section. Also looking for prep help May 11 and 12. Looking for a fun and engaging activity with friends? Why not become a Zoellner Arts Center volunteer usher! Volunteer on a show-to-show basis, mostly nights and weekends. Responsibilities include greeting patrons, scanning tickets, assisting patrons to their seats, and being trained on the center’s safety and evacuation protocols.
