Mary Ann Kurcz, 68, of Fogelsville, died on Feb. 13, 2023, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband, Robert Kurcz, were married 35 years last July.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Miraldo) Herhal.

She was a teacher and vice principal at the Lehigh Valley Charter School for the Performing Arts, Bethlehem.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Orefield.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Nathan Kurcz; stepdaughter Missy Updegrove of Northampton; brother Albert Herhal (Melinda) of Pottstown; sister Janet Hanning (Charles) of Glenmoore; and grandchildren Madeline, Owen and Imre.

Her services will be 11 a.m. Feb. 18 in Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be private.
