All township schools will be closed Feb. 17-20 in observation of Presidents Day. Schools will reopen Feb. 21 for a normal school day.

The Salisbury High School Literary Club is hosting a Rib Rally Feb. 20 and 21 at Texas Roadhouse on Hamilton Boulevard. The meal includes ribs, fries, bread and of course a bag of peanuts. Salisbury Elementary School will honor Dr. Seuss with the Read Across America week Feb. 27 through March 3. Look for more information to come home from your SES students.

Salisbury Youth Association spring sports registrations are now open. Visit SYASports.net to click on the appropriate baseball sign-ups. Registration is only available online and payment is required at the time of sign-up. Links will be active until Feb. 26.

Its almost time – the spring musical from SHS is almost here. This year, they will be performing “9 to 5” March 16-19. Tickets are now available online and will also be available at the door.

Looking forward, those with SES students, its almost time for parent and teacher conferences. SES students will dismiss early the week of March 6-9 and school will be closed March 10. Look for sign-up information to be sent home soon for planning purposes.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury, 1707 Church Road, Allentown will hold an Ash Wednesday service 7 p.m. Feb. 22.
