John “Jack” Graff

John “Jack” Graff, 82, of Macungie, died Feb. 8, 2023, in the in-patient hospice unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Anne M. (Poiron) Graff. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in September 2022. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Benjamin P. and Margaret G. (Ulrich) Graff.

He was a graduate of Father Judge High School, Philadelphia.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam era.

He was an air traffic controller for 32 years and retired from BWI Airport in 1996.

He was a member of the Church of St. Ann, Emmaus.

He was a former member of the Lower Lehigh Lions Club for 17 years. He enjoyed traveling, reading, going to the beach and spending time with his family. He was an avid skier.

He is survived by his wife; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Benjamin P. Jr. and sisters, Nancy J. Kennedy and Margaret G. Ziegler.

A Mass will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 15 at St. Ann Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. Call 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
