Joan M. Gbur, 77, of Emmaus, died Feb. 8, 2023, in her home. She was the wife of Burt Gbur Sr. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rhoda (Cunning) Mack.

She owned an operated her own beauty salon and worked as an inspector for American Electronic Laboratories.

She was born and raised in the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her husband; children, Shelia and her husband, Bob Dontonville, of Quakertown, Burt Jr. and his wife, Olga, of Emmaus, Tony and his wife, Michelle, of Breinigsville; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Olivia, Callie, Anthony, Joseph, Ana and Chloe; sisters, Catherine Sterner, of Allentown and Ann and her husband, John Zuber, of Summit Hill.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
