Jeffrey R. Davis, 79, of Macungie, died Feb. 12, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Susan M. (DeReamer) Davis. They would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary Aug. 17. Born in Newark, N.J., he was the son of the late Osborne and Gertrude (Love) Davis. He lived most of his childhood in Mount Tabor and Parsippany, N.J.

He graduated from Lycoming College in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology.

He worked at Air Products and Chemicals for 30 years as a fleet safety and training manager, retiring in 1999. He won several safety awards and The Private Truck Council of America, Inc., selected him in 1981 to the post of chairman of the safety committee, serving one year.

He loved playing golf with his Air Products buddies and enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball team and attending his daughter’s dance recitals and competitions. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; son, Jeffrey R. Jr.; daughter, Holly and her husband, Dale Pasko; grandchildren, Madisen, Laiken and Bohden; sisters-in-law, Diane and her husband, Ted Mucellin, Elaine Conner and April; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Greg J.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
