Freedom’s swim team hosted Southern Lehigh last week, its next-to-last meet of the regular season, when the Solehi boys topped the Patriot boys, 109-63, and the Solehi girls topped the Patriot girls, 122-57.
Individual event winners for Freedom were Ryan Rummel in the 50 freestyle (24.53) and the 100 backstroke (1:01.41), Alivia Deemer in 100 breaststroke (1:19.07), Hayden Taylor in girls diving (182.90), and Dylan Collier in boys diving (157.00).
AJ Black, Drew Harvey, Giovanni Camaione, and Rummel combined to win the 400 free relay (3:55.87).
Scoring second-place points for the Pates were Ella Lowe in the 200 free (2:27.25) and 100 back (1:16.05), Natalya Tiffany in girls diving (135.21), Cody Smith in boys diving (155.30), Sofia Nabyt in 100 butterfly (1:10.36), and Black in 100 fly (1:10.93).
Anaya Velez, Deemer, Nabyt, and Jasmine Chiu took second place in the 200 medley relay (2:12.20), as did Rummel, Black, Camaione, and Harvey (1:58.32).
Nabyt, Velez, Paige Anderson, and Deemer were second in the 200 free relay (1:56.29).
Third-place finishers for Freedom were Rohit Chinnawer, Jayden-Kylem Coley, Gabriel Maldonado, and Alexander Brioso in the 200 medley relay (2:34.56), Nabyt in the 200 IM (2:35.57), Anderson in the 50 free (29.55), Black in the 50 free (25.09), Maldonado in the 100 fly (1:27.48), Harvey in the 100 back (1:26.31), Margaret Marshaleck in the 100 breast (1:28.70), and Coley in the 100 breast (1:30.38).
Chinnawer, Coley, Brioso, and Maldonado took third place in the 200 free relay (2:18.89).
