Joseph D. Feinour, 90, of New Tripoli, died Feb. 5, 2023, at home.

Born in Lynn Township, he was a son of the late Victor and Katie (Kramer) Feinour.

An operating engineer, he last worked for the Bechtel Co., Northampton, before retiring in 1995.

He was a member of Jacob’s Church, New Tripoli, the Kempton and New Tripoli fire companies, Kempton Gun Club, and the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli.

He was also a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Marion M. Hermany, of New Tripoli; son Darryl J. (Cindy) Feinour of New Tripoli; daughter Beverly A. (Brian) Lloyd of Dublin, Ga.; grandchildren Rick Hamm, Michael Lloyd, and Kayla Feinour; great-grandchildren Jacob, William and Julianna Hamm; and sister Malinda Beckley of Hamburg.

He was predeceased by siblings Russell, Willard, Robert, Lawson, Oliver, Carson and Ira Feinour, Lorraine Niblick, and Leonore Heckman.

His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Feb. 10 in Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will follow the service in Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. The Rev. James LeVan will officiate.
