Jane Ellen Lauden-

slager, 85, formerly of Orefield, died Jan. 31, 2023, in Fellowship Villa, Whitehall, where she had been residing.

She and her husband, Donald M. Laudenslager, were married 65 years.

Born Dec. 27, 1937, in Upper Macungie Township, she was the daughter of the late Henry T. and Bessie M. (Bleiler) Kuhns.

She was a tax office clerk in the Parkland School District for 28 years before retiring in 2000.

A lifelong member of Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orefield, she was a volunteer there and sang with the choir for many years.

Additionally, she was a former volunteer for Lehigh County Meals on Wheels for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jeffrey D. Laudenslager and his wife, Rosemarie, of Orefield; daughter Judith M. Murphy and her husband, Kevin, of Orefield; brother Thomas A. Kuhns and his wife, Linda, of Orefield; grandchildren Andrew J. Murphy and his wife, Anne Barkow, and Erica M. Murphy; niece Jane Ann Lakatosh; and nephew Brian D. Lakatosh.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Holly M. Laudenslager, and a sister, Helen M. (Kuhns) Lakatosh.
