A catalytic converter was removed from a box truck parked in a lot at Dunkin’ Donuts, Hamilton Boulevard, according to Pennsylvania State police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 28.

Retail theft
An 59-year-old male, of Allentown, was apprehended and arrested for allegedly removing $1,064.59 in Pokémon cards from Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:28 p.m. Jan. 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 20-year-old male, of Wayne, was arrested Jan. 6 for allegedly under ringing various merchandise while employed at Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A person allegedly took a large quantity of clothing items into a changing room at a retailer on North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township and concealed the clothing in a stroller before leaving the store without paying for the clothing, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 19 and the clothing is valued at approximately $1,200.

Someone removed jewelry valued at approximately $40,000 between June 19, 2019 and Dec. 31, 2022, from a location along Gracie Lone, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Someone forced the lock of an exterior mounted vending machine and removed cash at New Wave car wash, 3156 state Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, 11:59 a.m. Jan. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Someone removed unsecured HVAC equipment, valued at $1,124, from a location at Daylily Drive and Gentlewind Way, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 1.

A 20-year-old male, of Zionsville, allegedly kicked a vehicle, denting the front fender, at a location along Yeakels Road, Lower Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 25.
Accident
A Nazareth motorist escaped injury when his sport utility vehicle toppled onto its right side in a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:57 a.m. Jan. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was heading south on Brookside Road. A second vehicle, driven by a motorist from Allentown, was eastbound on Hamilton Boulevard. The motorist on Hamilton Boulevard allegedly drove through a steady red light. The Nazareth motorist “was traveling at a fast speed” and allegedly went through the intersection on a steady yellow signal, according to authorities. The vehicles collided and the SUV spun out of control and flipped. The Allentown motorist was injured and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital. Macungie EMS and Stew’s Towing also responded.
Scam
A resident of Village Round, Lower Macungie Township, purchased $500 in gift cards and gave the card numbers by phone to a person who claimed to work for technical support for a computer printer company, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 26.
A resident of Creamery Court, Lower Macungie Township, purchased $6,000 in gift cards and gave approximately $3,500 worth of the card numbers to an unknown suspect who called and identified themselves as an Amazon Service Center worker, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 19.
Drug possession
A 23-year-old male and two 19-year-old females, all of Allentown, allegedly had drug paraphernalia and controlled substances during a traffic stop at the intersection of Lower Macungie Road and Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:57 p.m. Dec. 26, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
DUI
A 42-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after state police responded to a motorist thought to be having a medical emergency at a location in the 3800 block of Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, 4:17 a.m. Jan. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 23-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly was driving under the influence near the intersection of South Second Street and Railroad Street, Emmaus borough, 2:48 a.m. Jan. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
