Rodger F. Hartranft, 66, of Emmaus, died Jan. 26, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Carol A. (Ruth) Hartranft for 31 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Patricia A. (Millets) and Rodger H. Hartranft Jr.

He worked as a cabdriver, route driver for Guardian Photo and Qualex, driver for Para Transit and was a bus driver for the East Penn School District.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

He was a member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus and Emmaus and Macungie fire police.

He is survived by his wife; estranged brothers, Richard and Michael.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later time. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
