Northampton: Fire department to host purse bingo
Northampton Borough Fire Department is planning a designer purse bingo for Feb. 25 at the fire station, 4 Lerchenmiller Drive. Doors open 11 a.m., and bingo starts 12:30 p.m.
The cost of a ticket includes 20 games. Extra boards and bingo dabbers will be available at an additional cost. Tickets are available at the fire station.
The event is BYOB. Concessions will be sold.
A limited number will be sold at the door, and at a higher cost, on the day of the event.

Alliance Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, 717 Washington Ave., will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner 4-7 p.m. Feb. 25. The menu includes homemade roasted pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls and assorted desserts.
Takeout is available.
A basket social will also be held.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering for the 2023-24 school year.
The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children, who do not need to be toilet trained for this class.
The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, who need to be toilet trained for this class.
The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, who need to be toilet trained for this class.
Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.

Weekly bingo is held Mondays at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. Doors will open 5:30 p.m., and the games begin 6:30 p.m.

Northampton Borough is accepting contributions for a memorial plaque that will be placed at the municipal pool. This plaque will feature names of former pool employees who have died.
All contributions and names can be submitted to the borough office, 1401 Laubach Ave.
