James E. Seidel, 50, of Emmaus, died unexpectedly at home Jan. 26, 2023. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Dale G. and Ann Marie (Cagna) Seidel.

He was a welder by trade, having worked for Hale Trailer Brake and Wheel of Allentown and Cliff Lick Salvage Yard.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1991 and served in the United States Navy.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a member of Liars Paradise Hunting Club in Potter County and Upper Milford Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Micah D. and his wife, Kristen; nieces and nephew; aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by a brother, Dallas L. in 2012.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
