Dennis J. Nonne- macher, 74, of Whitehall, died Jan. 30, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Kristina M. (Boyer) Nonnemacher for 34 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clarence W. and Betty L. (Schubert) Nonnemacher.

He was in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and was stationed in Korea. He was a jet mechanic, and his name was on a fighter jet.

He was a machinist and toolmaker for Phoenix Forge and Metal Tech. He later retired as a truck driver for Contractors Equipment Company.

He was a lifetime member of the West Catasauqua Fire Hall.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dennis J. II; a sister, Lori and husband William Serra; three grandchildren, Colby J. Braker, Hunter P. Bucha and Kylie D. Braker; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Tammie Lynn Nonnemacher.
