The Catasauqua Middle School valentine dance is scheduled for 6:30-8:30 p.m. Feb. 10. There is a small cost for the dance.

Students must have their CMS picture ID. Students who misplaced their ID should inform their homeroom teacher to get a new one made.

Reminder: The CMS Souper Bowl of Caring food drive ends Feb. 10. Consider donating nonperishable food items to help the less fortunate.

Check expiration dates. Bring items in plastic, cans or boxes - no glass.

Additionally, the homeroom that brings in the most items will win a pizza party.

CMS students are encouraged to sign up for Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association’s baseball and softball season for ages 5-15.

Sign-ups are scheduled for 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 11 at Opportunity Field on Walnut Street.

There will be a class meeting Feb. 14.

The eighth-grade related arts cycle three ends Feb. 15. Cycle four begins Feb. 16.

Schools will be closed Feb. 17 and 20 for the Presidents Day holiday.

The CMS parent teacher forum Gertrude Hawk fundraiser runs through Feb. 27. Students should have brought home their information packets.

Estimated delivery is the week of March 27.
