JAN. 16

The theft of jewelry in the 700 block of Fourth Street was reported.

Suspicious activity at Prospect and Tioga streets was investigated.

JAN. 17

A 13-year-old female was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

Officers conducted a death investigation in the 500 block of Circle Drive.

A burglary occurred in the 700 block of Second Street.

Following a vehicle pursuit at South 14th Street and Edward Lane, Bernice Deschaine, 40, of Catasauqua, was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, escape, operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspection and operation following suspension of registration.

Officers assisted Bethlehem police in the 300 block of Church Street for a warrant service and a citizen in the 100 block of Main Street for a parking issue.

A report of identity theft in the 400 block of Crane Street was investigated.

In the 100 block of Front Street, a hit and run took place.

Charges were filed against an 11-year-old male for possession of a weapon on school property at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

A disturbance in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was investigated.

A disturbance between a mother and son occurred in the 700 block of Third Street.

Two traffic citations were filed in the 700 block of Third Street during a vehicle stop.

Officers responded to a reportable motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of Canal Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the unit block of Covington Place.

JAN. 19

A juvenile issue at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., was addressed.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 100 block of Front Street.

At Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, a juvenile complaint involving a threat had police at the scene.

JAN. 20

Ashley Jiminez, 29, of Catasauqua, was cited for scattering rubbish at Second and Race streets.

A driver was cited during a vehicle stop at Second and Bridge streets.

Juveniles fighting at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, was reported.

A fraud report in the 700 block of Faith Drive is pending further investigation, the department said.

An animal complaint - two dogs at large - at Church Street and Howertown Road was addressed.

JAN. 21

A civil matter, involving a tenant and landlord, took place in the 100 block of Wood Street.

A male trespassing in a backyard in the 300 block of Circle Drive was reported.

JAN. 22

Charges are pending against an 18-year-old male of Allentown for an alleged DUI in the 400 block of Race Street.

Suspicious activity in the 500 block of Circle Drive was investigated.

A warning was issued for a parking violation at Second and Chestnut streets.

JAN. 23

A parking complaint in the 700 block of Second Street was addressed. A ticket was issued.

The department investigated an unattended death at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St.

Officers assisted Lehigh Valley International Airport Police Department at the airport, 3311 Airport Road, Hanover Township.

JAN. 24

Thomas Gressley, 68, of Catasauqua, was arrested at North 14th and Race streets for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, drug paraphernalia, simple possession and accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property and miscellaneous traffic violations.

A hit and run took place at North 14th and Race streets.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1000 block of Fifth Street and a citizen in the 100 block of Race Street.

A dog lost in the 300 block of Walnut Street was reported.

Criminal mischief - a door damaged - in the 300 block of Edward Lane was reported.

Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 300 block of Church Street.

A report of harassment in the 300 block of Church Street was investigated.

A driver was cited during a vehicle stop at North 14th and Race streets.
