Bath: Fire company plans chicken dinner
Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, will be having a chicken and waffle dinner 3-8 p.m. Feb. 10. The menu includes chicken and gravy, waffle, mashed potatoes, vegetables and dessert.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will once again be having the Souper Bowl of Caring on Super Bowl Sunday - Feb. 12.
There will be soup pots for monetary donations Feb. 12 as you leave worship. Also, wear something to support your favorite team. If everyone watching the game gave just one dollar or one can of food, that means a lot of food and money to help Bath Area Food Bank.

Bath Area Food Bank will next distribute food Feb. 14, starting around 9:30 a.m. on the lower level of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St.

The Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., is scheduled to be open to the public 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 18. Volunteers are needed.

Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St., is having a variety bingo Feb. 25. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and bingo begins 1 p.m.
There will be 20 regular games and five special games. Food and beverages will be available.

For the month of February, Bath Area Food Bank let Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church know of its immediate need for any type of canned fruit, boxed macaroni and cheese, any type of pasta and bars of soap.
Your monetary gifts to the food bank stretch further than any amount of food can provide.
